About Us

Founded in 2009, Accent Dental Centre is the fastest growing dental office in Fort St John. We proudly provide care for children, adults and seniors. We treat each patient like family. Our compassionate, professional staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of care possible. Because we are locally owned, we are community driven. This means we are focus more on the community and providing excellent care and less on the bottom line.

Established in 2009, Accent Dental uses the newest equipment and technology. We use digital x-rays to decrease x-ray exposure to a fraction of conventional films. We are environmentally friendly with amalgam separators and digital x-rays to minimize chemical release into the environment. Our saliva vacuum system saves 1200L of water per day when compared to conventional vacuum systems.

Dr Ma started the Cavity Free Draw in 2003. He used it as a way to give back to the community and motivate children to be cavity free. We introduced the cavity free draw to Fort St John in 2009. We were the first dental office to accept direct payment for dental insurance in 2010. We are also the first to open extend evening and weekend hours and TV's in every dental chair. We sponsor, various sports tournaments and teams, the Accent Dental Christmas Lighting Contest and our award winning booth at the Fort St John Trade Show. We donate to various charities. We are happy they other offices are copying us because this means better care to everyone in Fort St John.

We are not tied to any large foreign dental corporation. We provide effective care that is responsive to the needs of Fort St John. Being independently owned mean that we are able to focus on you and Fort St John!
